Earshot helps you find relevant conversations on Reddit and draft thoughtful replies — without spending hours scrolling.

You set up Listeners to watch specific subreddits and keywords. When Earshot finds a match, it drafts a reply (on Solo) or surfaces the post for you to review (on Scout).

On Solo, you read, edit, copy, and paste AI-generated drafts yourself. On Scout, you review monitored threads and reply on Reddit manually — there are no AI drafts to edit. Earshot never posts automatically on either plan.

You don't need to connect Reddit — Earshot doesn't use Reddit login.

You can optionally add your Reddit username under Your Reddit account in the sidebar. Type the public username (with or without u/) and save. Earshot will skip threads where you are the author when suggesting replies, and show tips on recent commenting habits.

Earshot never posts on your behalf. On Solo, when you're ready to reply, click Copy and open Reddit — Earshot marks the draft as posted at that moment. You paste the text yourself on Reddit.

It depends on your Listener setup and how active your subreddits are:

• Your Listener must be Active and past its first scheduled run.
• Check every (minutes) controls how often it scans — default is 60 minutes.
• Quiet subreddits may take longer. Very active ones with good keywords may produce drafts within the first run cycle.

If nothing appears after several runs, try loosening keywords or strictness. See Listeners.

On Scout, you'll see monitored posts (matching threads) instead of AI drafts.

No. Earshot drafts replies for you to review. You edit, copy, and paste them on Reddit yourself. Nothing goes live without your action.

This is human-in-the-loop by design — it keeps you in control and helps you follow each subreddit's rules.

They work together: the Listener finds threads, the Persona shapes the voice, the Knowledge Base supplies facts, and you review the result. See How Earshot works.

Yes. Each Listener is an independent monitoring configuration with its own subreddits, keywords, schedule, Persona, and Knowledge Bases.

Plan limits:

Check your Persona's Never do field — is it empty? Add explicit boundaries like "Never pitch unprompted" and "Never use corporate jargon."

Also check Always do — if it says "always mention our product," drafts will pitch. Rewrite it to focus on helpful behaviors instead.

Your Listener matters too — broad keywords or loose strictness can surface threads where a helpful reply naturally sounds salesy. Expect some back-and-forth between Persona rules and Listener tuning before drafts feel right.

Your Knowledge Base may be missing, outdated, or too vague. Earshot references attached KB documents when drafting — if the facts aren't there, it may guess.

Upload accurate, up-to-date documents (PDF, TXT, or Markdown). Start with a product one-pager and top FAQs.

Accuracy also depends on balance across your setup: a Persona that encourages product mentions, a Listener that surfaces off-topic threads, or a thin KB can all produce wrong details. Fine-tune Listener targeting, Persona boundaries, and Knowledge Base content together — not just one in isolation.

Your Listener is probably too broad. Try:

• Tightening Primary keywords or adding Posts must also include terms
• Adding Negative terms for recurring noise
• Narrowing your subreddit list
• Setting How strict should filtering be? to Tight
• Blocking noisy authors with Negative authors or Settings → Global keywords

If the Listener is catching the right kind of thread but drafts still miss the mark, adjust your Persona and attached Knowledge Bases too. Getting good results usually takes iterative tuning between what you watch for (Listener) and how you sound (Persona).

Your Listener may be too narrow. Try:

• Loosening strictness to Loose or Medium
• Broadening Primary keywords
• Adding subreddits with more activity
• Checking that the Listener is Active (not paused)
• Checking the health funnel on the listener card — are items being filtered out at the keyword or contextual stage?

If you've loosened the Listener and still see gaps, check that your Persona and Knowledge Bases aren't working against you (e.g. rules so tight that drafted replies get rejected before you notice). Balance is iterative — nudge Listener settings first, then Persona and KB until matches and draft quality line up.

Earshot has two plans:

Scout ($7/mo or $70/yr):

• Up to 3 listeners, 6 subreddits per listener
• Monitored posts — no AI drafts, personas, or knowledge bases

Solo ($19/mo or $190/yr):

• Up to 10 listeners, 10 subreddits per listener
• Up to 10 personas, 10 knowledge bases
• 100 AI drafts per day (UTC)

Both plans include a 7-day free trial. Your card is collected at signup; you're charged when the trial ends. Manage your subscription on the Billing page.

On Solo, you can generate up to 100 AI drafts per calendar day (UTC). When you hit the limit:

• Draft generation pauses temporarily.
• Existing drafts are still available for review.
• Generation resumes at midnight UTC.

You can also hit a pending drafts pause on Solo if you have 100 unreviewed pending AI drafts. Scout monitored posts do not count toward this cap. Review and post some to resume generation.

Earshot helps you find threads and draft replies — but you decide what gets posted. Following a contribute-don't-sell approach (answer the question, don't pitch unprompted, respect subreddit rules) significantly reduces risk.

Earshot doesn't post as a bot. You post as yourself, manually, from your own Reddit account. The reply is yours — Earshot just helped you write a first draft.

You still need to follow each subreddit's rules. Some ban any product mention. Some require disclosure. Earshot shows community rules on draft cards to help you check.

Earshot stores your account information, Listener configurations, Personas, Knowledge Base documents you upload, and draft history. Reddit thread content is fetched to power monitoring and drafting. You remain responsible for reviewing, editing, and posting any content to Reddit — see the Terms & Conditions for full details on service use, acceptable use, and account risk.

Your drafts and Listener data are private to your Earshot account. Earshot does not post anything publicly without your action.
